So, I’m back with a new summer post,
I will be discussing white staple outfits,
The colour White is best for summer as it controls the heat and makes us cool.
I’m not a huge fan of the white colour but there are some of the essentials that I like to keep in a specific colour,
when it comes to styling I love monochrome looks and I absolutely love the white-black combination, I love stripe pattern the most in it, it always looks classy, Just how I like it!
I will be listing some of the white essentials that you need in your wardrobe.
Many times people wear the colour for a specific reason like Hindus wear white colour during cremation while Christian people wear it during the wedding, I think one shouldn’t just judge the colour on any good or bad occasion. at the end of the day, it is simply a colour and nothing more.
Do you know ‘White’ colour is the most colourful one? it is not dull and plain as we see, it is composed of all the colours of the spectrum! yes, you read it right, I studied this during my school time, sunlight is also a white light and therefore the sunlight creates a rainbow.
Alright, enough of ranting. let’s get back to our post, talking about essentials.
1- A white shirt – you will be amazed to know in how many different ways we can style a basic white shirt. Yes, you can style it the formal way by wearing with your black trousers or pencil skirt, you can style it casually with denim shorts or culottes, the modern ethnic way by styling it with a Banarasi skirt or any lehenga and basic everyday wear by pairing it up with ripped jeans.
there are many other looks to try and style!
so, if you have a white shirt, go style it in different ways.
2- A pair of white sneaker – Sneakers are most comfortable footwear and necessary item. A basic white sneaker is needed, you can pair it with almost everything. Recently, there is a trend to pair sneaker even with party wear a dress and you all must have seen in #Sonamkishaadi, the groom Anand Ahuja paired sneaker with Indian attire. now do I need to write anything more about the importance of basic sneaker?
so, go grab a white sneaker and run errands throughout the day in it!
3- White palazzo/shorts – White palazzo is one of the important closet items, you need it to pair with your Indian/ethnic outfits, you can create mix n match or fusion look using the plain white palazzo. you can even wear any funky western top or crop top with it for a modern look.
For summer shorts are highly needed, you can wear it to vacation, day out, movie, shopping and anywhere you feel
4- White stole – Stole is essential, you can use it in summer for covering your face, acts as heat protection and in winter to shield from cold breeze. You can carry it while travelling to cover. Also, you can use it as an accessory for your basic outfits and oomph up your fashion game by styling the stole in various ways.
5- A white dress – a simple yet elegant white dress can do wonders, Minimal is the key. You can check the look I created with classy hand embroidered white dress.
The good thing is it’s so comfortable, flowy & lightweight that you will feel amazing. It is of cotton material so it’ll absorb your sweat & will let your skin breathe.
You can rock the daytime elegant look by just wearing it as frock with tan bag & heels.
You can even create an indo-western look & wear it to summer weddings & other such Indian functions by teaming it up with some colourful stole/dupatta & palazzo for a cool yet stylish look.
